Supporting Local Businesses

For forty years the guiding principle of the Hillsborough Schools Foundation (HSF) has been to raise funds in support of the Hillsborough City School District. In that time, we have reached out to our school community, to friends and family, neighbors, and local businesses to help achieve our annual goal. All of you have supported HSF so that we could ensure an excellent education for our children.

While our priority has not changed, our focus has shifted due to the current crisis that envelopes us, our community, and our world. Now it is OUR turn to support YOU. While HSF may not be able to offer direct assistance, we would like to try and connect you with services and businesses so that we can help each other.

Below, is a list of local businesses that have sustained our efforts through the years, and whose services might support your current needs. These range from food and restaurant to clothier and retail to fitness businesses.

In the coming weeks, we will profile some of these businesses, and how they are operating during the shelter-in-place mandate, on our social media pages. Please follow us for updates on Instagram @hsfevents or Facebook @hillsboroughschoolsfoundation.

If you run a business or know of a local business in need, please reach out to us directly at so that we can connect you or them to our community.

Together we are HSF! Together we will support each other!
