This year’s Fund-a-Need is bringing hands-on, immersive learning experiences to the Hillsborough City School District, sparking curiosity and deepening student engagement beyond traditional classroom lessons. Through cutting-edge STEM assemblies—featuring live science experiments, space exploration with NASA experts, and interactive hands-on science lessons—our elementary students will connect their studies to the real world in unforgettable ways. At Crocker, we’re also enhancing science education by equipping classrooms with microscopes and Bunsen burners and expanding our virtual reality technology to our science classrooms, giving students the tools to conduct real-world experiments and deepen their understanding of chemistry and biology.
